UP Chief Minister announced a significant increase in the honorarium for Shiksha Mitras salary from 10,000 to 18,000. The revised payment will take effect from April 1. Instructors (Anudeshak) will receive 17,000 per month. Additionally, teachers will be provided cashless medical treatment coverage up to 5 lakh.

Expansion of Kasturba Gandhi Residential Schools
Adityanath stated that new Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya will be established in areas where they do not currently exist. The government has allocated 580 crore for this initiative.
Universities, Patents and Higher Education Expansion
The Chief Minister revealed that universities in Uttar Pradesh have filed over 5,000 patents, with more than 300 already approved. He noted that before 2017, approvals for private universities lacked transparency and six divisions in the state had no universities.
The government established Maa Shakumbhari University and is expanding higher education access across all divisions. Alongside state universities, private and foreign universities are being encouraged to promote healthy competition and improve academic standards.
Digital Entrepreneur Scheme for Villages
Under the newly announced Digital Entrepreneur Scheme, 8,000 digital entrepreneurs will be established in rural areas, with 50% reservation for women. Women entrepreneur marketing and industrial centers will also be set up to promote economic participation.
Maternal & Child Health Focus
To improve maternal and infant health outcomes, the government will strengthen institutional delivery systems and has proposed a 1,000 crore allocation to ensure safer childbirth and reduce mortality rates.
Agriculture & Farmer Support
The state has allocated 100 crore to promote agricultural exports. Uttar Pradesh has approximately 4 million tube wells, and currently 1.6 million farmers receive free electricity. The government also plans to provide solar panels to farmers to reduce energy costs and promote sustainable agriculture.
